Letter Sequence Memory: Remember the Order

Play the letter sequence challenge and practice recalling a growing string in the correct order.

Play now

Watch the letters

Press Start and watch letters appear one at a time. When the question mark appears, type the sequence in its original order and select Submit. A correct answer increases the next sequence length. An incorrect answer displays the expected sequence and ends the attempt. The input accepts uppercase or lowercase responses.

Use small chunks

For a sequence such as KRTAB, try remembering KR followed by TAB. You can also imagine the letters spoken with a steady rhythm. A sequence does not have to form a real word to be grouped. Choose a method that helps you preserve order, because remembering the right letters in a different order does not count.

Wait until playback ends

Typing ahead can divide your attention between the display and keyboard. Watch the full sequence before responding. On a phone, allow the keyboard to open after playback and check the text you entered before submitting. If you want to start over, use Restart in the game header.

Track practice honestly

Completed levels contribute ten rating points each, up to 100. The shared Memory rating averages these results with Color Memory rounds. Short practice sessions can help you learn the game, but the score does not establish general memory ability or an IQ score. Take a break whenever you stop enjoying the challenge.
